Rearranged retirement event for Kieran Cogan. / Mark Madigan
After 37 years of loyal and dedicated service, Kieran Cogan retired in November 2017. Due to a family bereavement Kieran’s retirement event was postponed before Christmas but has been rearranged for the 26th January next.
From his very first role in Transmission Department, and the many and varied roles since, Kieran has brought a professionalism and a tremendous capacity for acquiring knowledge and producing technical information. He has contributed hugely to ensuring that the highest standards of safety, workmanship and quality were applied on the very many projects and assignments that he has been responsible for. This has been particularly evident since Kieran started in the Technical Development area back in 2001 where he has tirelessly worked to improve the safety standards , procedures and work methods for staff and contractors. He is recognised widely for his expertise both internally and with external stakeholders.
To celebrate his distinguished career, Kieran would like to invite all his many colleagues (past and present) to join him on the 26th January in the Briar Rose Bar & Bistro, Douglas Road Cork for an evening of reminiscing and laughter. Those wishing to make a contribution please contact:
• Mark Madigan – Clanwilliam
• Seamus O’Loughlin – Limerick
• Paul Fitzgerald – Wilton
• Richard King – Enniscorthy
• Michael Murray – Galway
Full details below:
Venue: Briar Rose Bar & Bistro, Douglas Road, Cork
Date: 26th January from 8.30pm
