Yes, its back, by Popular Demand …

The Great ElectricAid Book/CD/DVD/Art Sale is coming back – and it is by popular demand, we have had loads of queries and requests! This year, we’re moving a few meters to the brighter and more spacious surroundings of the McLaughlin area, HO Restaurant. On Wednesday and Thursday 11th and 12th of May, we’re planning on running our biggest and best sale ever – but that’s really up to you! We can only sell what you donate, so please have a clear out of unwanted but fair-condition books, CDs, DVDs, and artwork – and anything else you think might sell. Every home (and a fair few offices) is crammed with unwanted stuff – which might interest your friends and colleagues. We can recycle all this knowledge, wisdom and entertainment – and turn it into desperately-needed funds for projects in Ireland and all over the developing world.
The Sale itself will be a wonderland of value, with everything priced to sell!

Thank you on behalf of the IMNDA

Thanks to all my ESB friends and colleagues for all your support and sponsorship for my Punch Up in the Palace in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA). Between sponsorship and ticket sales, thanks to you, I managed to raise a phenomenal amount of ?985!

Now that the dust has settled after the fight night which took place last Friday I can confirm that after what was an epic three rounds of boxing the result was a split decision going in my opponents favour (I came second!) but for me the real winner was the IMNDA. Let me take this opportunity to thank you very much on behalf of this worthwhile organisation.

Kind Regards,
Emer “Lights Out” Corcoran
