The death has occurred of Catherine (Kitty) MOONEY (née Walsh) Springmount, Tramore, Waterford / Waterford City, Waterford (Mother of Noel Mooney, Ex Staff, Sligo)

Springmount, Tramore & formerly of Barrack Street Terrace, Waterford. Removal from University Hospital Waterford on Wednesday at 7.30pm to the Holy Cross Church, Tramore. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 10.00oc followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Tramore.
Our Thoughts & Prayers are with Noel & his family at this sad time. May She Rest in Peace

Gerry Condon R.I.P. / Mark Connolly

Condon, Gerard (Gerry) (Late of Blackrock and formerly of E.S.B)- 1st July, 2018, (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff in the Cedar Ward in the Oncology Dept, St Vincent’s Private Hospital and in the loving company of family and friends. Beloved husband and soul mate to his loving wife Gay. Sadly missed by his wife, sister Mary, nieces, brother John, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, 5 Newtown Park, just off Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock Tuesday from 4 o’c to 7o’c. Funeral arriving to St. John the Baptist Church, Blackrock, Wednesday at 10.50 o’c for 11 o’c Requiem Mass. Funeral thereafter to Mt Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Alone charity.

Mai Kirwan, Mother of Micheal Kirwan Design Office Galway /
Peacefully at Mystical Rose Nursing Home in her 95th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Michael and granddaughter Eimear. Sadly missed by her loving family Anne, Teresa, Peter, Michael, Martin and Patricia, daughters-in-law Loretto, Brid and Colette, sons-in-law Larry, Austin and Martin, her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister Anne Cahill, brother Tony O’Brien, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at St. Colman’s Room adjoining St. Colman’s Church, Corofin, Co Galway on Wednesday, 4th of July, at 5pm with removal to the Church at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 noon followed by burial in Cummer Cemetery. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Retirement of Barbara Vance, Production Support Supervisor, Dublin South, ESB Networks /
After 35+ years of service Barbara will be retiring on Friday 13th July. During a long and distinguished career in ESB Barbara worked in many different roles, including Payroll, Shops, HR, and finally as PSS in Dublin South. Barbara’s professionalism and dedication to her work will be greatly missed by those who have worked with her. To mark her departure Barbara would like to invite all her friends and colleagues past and present to join her on Friday 20th July at 8pm at Bray Golf Club.

charity cricket match in aid of fr peter mc verry / Tony Connell

Just a small word of thanks to all who contributed in either donations to the go to fund me page or thos who purchased tickets for the event
€2,365.25 was sent on to the mc verry trust.€400 had to be paid out in costs on the following – pinting of raffle tickets plus cost of burgers for bbque. we are holding on to €300 for next years event
the international x1 won the 2 innings game by 7 wickets .having had a 3 run lead from 1st innings 267 – 271 . irish x1 scored 87 in 2nd innings and international team got the total losing 3 wickets
thank you again for supporting a very worthwhile cause and also those who donated prizes to the raffle
