Death of Geraldine O’Connor, RIP, sister of Yvonne Taggart /
It is with sadness that I advise you of the death of Geraldine O’Connor, sister of our friend and colleague Yvonne Taggart. Peacefully in the presence of her loving family at University Hospital Kerry on 30th November 2021. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her partner Nessan, sons Ethan and Ryan, parents Mike and Eileen, brothers Michael and Trevor, sisters Marion, Yvonne, Ciara and Lorraine, sisters-in-law Sharon and Dara, brothers-in-law Tony (O’Sullivan), Tony (Taggart) and David (Looney), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends. May Geraldine Rest In Peace.
Funeral will arrive to St James’ Church, Killorglin on Thursday, 2nd Dec., for Requiem Mass at 10.30am followed by burial to Ardmoniel Cemetery. Death of Maura Downes, RIP, sister of Paula Boyd / Ger Brennan
The death has occured of Maura Downes, sister of our colleague Paula Boyd, Inchicore. Our thought and prayers are with Paula and her family at this sad time. DOWNES (née Walsh) (Chapelizod, Dublin and formerly of Mourne Road, Dublin) November 29th 2021 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Beaumont Hospital. Maura, beloved wife of Eamon and much loved mother of Jackie, Valerie, Fiona, Eoin, Derek and Christine. Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace. Reposing at Cunninghams Funeral Home, Lucan on (Wednesday) evening from 6.00 o’c to 8.00 o’c. Removal to the Church of the Nativity of the B.V.M., Chapelizod on Friday morning arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in Palmerstown Cemetery. Maura’s funeral mass may be viewed online by following this LINK on Friday morning. Maura’s Funeral cortege will pass her home on Friday morning at 11.15am for friends and family to pay their respects.
