Death of Anne Gibson, mother of Alan, EMP / Phil Bennett
It is with sadness that I must advise of the passing of Anne Gibson, mother of our friend and colleague Alan.
Reposing on Tuesday afternoon at her home from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Wednesday to the Church of Our Lady of Consolation, Donnycarney, arriving for an 11 o’clock funeral mass followed by burial in Glasnevin cemetery. Our thoughts are with Alan and his family at this time.
Death of Deirdre, sister of Jim Murphy, SHE / Stuart Ayling
It is with sadness that I inform you of the passing of Jim Murphy’s sister Deirdre (Dee) Murphy-Mc Nally.
Deirdre will repose at her residence on Thursday evening (August 8th) from 6pm to 9pm. A Service to celebrate Deirdre’s life will take place on Friday morning (August 9th) at 10am in The Temple at Newlands Cross Cemetery, followed by burial in Bohernabreena Cemetery.

With over 41 years of service our Comp & Ben authority, Irene Byrne, will finish her work with ESB on Thursday 29th August 2019. Irene has worked with many people from across all parts of ESB. To mark her retirement Irene would like to invite her friends and colleagues, old and new, for some light refreshments in Doheny & Nesbitts on Thursday 29th August at 5pm.
