Betty Byrne is retiring on 17 June / Sara Farrington
Our friend and colleague Betty Byrne will retire on 17th June after 49 years of dedicated service with ESB. Betty joined ESB in 1973 working in the Head Office Restaurant where she soon made life-long friends with many staff. After many years in the Head Office Restaurant, Betty joined the Cleaning Team taking pride in ensuring a clean and tidy workplace for all. On behalf of everyone in Head Office we would like to wish Betty a long and happy retirement and thank Betty for her commitment and service to ESB over the last 49 years. Betty would like to extend an invitation to her friends and colleagues from ESB to join her in celebrating her retirement at 5pm in McGrattan’s Bar (for a drink and a chat) on Friday 1st July. Death of Betty McCord, RIP, mother of Lisa McCord / Patricia Nolan
It is with deep sadness that I inform you of the death of Elizabeth (Betty) McCord beloved mother of our friend and colleague Lisa McCord. Betty passed away peacefully at home on the 10th June and will be deeply missed as a devoted wife and mam and lovingly remembered by her beloved husband Con, children Anthony, James, Lisa, Colin and Sinéad, sons-in-law Darrin and James, daughters-in-law Tara, Mairéad and Lorna, grandchildren Con, Sean, Ava, Fiadh, Grace, Zoe and Luke, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. May Betty rest in peace. Betty’s family would like to give a special thanks to Comfort Keepers for all of their care and help during Betty’s illness. House private. Removal on Tuesday morning, 14th June, to Our Lady of Consolation Church, Donnycarney arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery Extension. Death of Lusmary Fraile, RIP, Enterprise Services / Elaine Collins
It is with deep regret and sadness that I advise re the death of Lusmary Fraile Romero on 9th June 2022. Lusmary joined ESB in December 2019 as a Project manager and worked on many Generation & Trading projects during that time. She is fondly remembered by her friends and colleagues for her energy and enthusiasm and sunny outlook. She is survived by her two daughters Andrea & Sofia. Details now available on RIP.ie . Reposing at Jennings Funeral Home, Amiens Street, Dublin 1, Monday 13th June 2022 from 3pm to 5pm. Cremation Service will take place on Tuesday 14th June 2022 at Glasnevin Crematorium at 2.20pm. Death of Myra Flynn, RIP, mother of Jimmy Flynn, POD / Joe Scally
It is with great sadness that I inform you of the death of Myra Flynn, mother of our friend and colleague, Jimmy Flynn (People & Organisational Development). Our deepest sympathies are with him and the family at this time. Myra passed away peacefully on 9th June in St. Paul’s Nursing Home in Limerick. She will be deeply missed by Jimmy, her family, friends and neighbours.
