Farewell & Thanks

Pat Courtney is retiring / Carmel O Callaghan
After over forty years of dedicated service Pat Courtney of ESB Networks Dunmanway has decided to retire and live happily with his family in his beloved home town of Bantry. He worked tirelessly to maintain and support the customer services team in Dunmanway and his depth of knowledge of the networks will be greatly missed by his colleagues as well as his good humour, wit, and jars of honey!
Pat was supported in the earlier years by his wife Maureen and his family who often took ESB customer calls while he was on call which maybe explained the good relationship and understanding he had with the scheduling support and call centre staff in later years. We would like to wish Pat a long and happy retirement to spend with his wife Maureen, and his family, and we know his grandchildren and his many farming and other interests will keep him busy! We will miss you but hope that you will keep us updated with your travels and adventures in the coming years. Pat will be having a few drinks to celebrate his retirement in the Parkway Hotel Dunmanway on Friday 20th May at 4.30pm and would like to extend a warm welcome to all his colleagues past and present to join him. Anyone who wants to be associated with Pat’s retirement please contact Norma or Carmel in Dunmanway office

Tony Casey, Fleet Tools & Equipment is celebrating his retirement / Catriona Hurley
After 47 years of service our colleague Tony retired in September 2021. Due to Covid restrictions at the time we were unable to hold a retirement function for Tony to mark his years of dedicated service to ESB. We would now like to invite Tony’s many friends and colleagues to his retirement party in the Horse and Hound Bar, Mulgrave Street, Limerick (V94 E4E3) on Friday 20th May at 8.30pm. Tony is looking forward to meeting up with everyone on the night.
