P60s, a reminder / OneHR
This is just a reminder that following the implementation of Payroll Modernisation in January 2019, the ESB no longer issue P60s for ESB Staff or Pensioners. The Revenue phone lines are currently out of service due to the Covid pandemic.
However you will be able to log into Revenue “My Account” from around the end of January 2021 and download an end of year statement which is the equivalent of a P60. For more information please go to https://www.revenue.ie

Farewell & Thanks

Thanks from Pat Walsh on his recent retirement / Ger Bailey
I would really like to thank all of you who contacted me by phone, email and cards, wishing me well on my retirement. I have been very lucky to have met, worked, collaborated, problem solved and battled with so many fantastic colleagues right across ESB, bottom to top. There are way too many of you to mention. I’ve had a great and varied career ESB and will always remember people like Liam Croston (RIP) who right from the start, encouraged me to challenge myself, be ambitious, study etc. I was looking forward to a lively retiring do but unfortunately COVID-19 put a stop to that. Hopefully sometime in the near future we can all meet up, celebrate and I can buy you all a drink or several! The last 43 years have flown by and it is now time for my next adventure and so I’ll wish you and ESB all the best for the future. Go n-éirí an t-ádh libh, Patrick Walsh

ESB Trading Bake-off 2020 goes virtual / Dusan Nemeckay & Lidia Juskowiek
Despite the current situation related to Covid-19, the Bake Off tradition has to be kept alive and therefore this year’s 11th ESB Trading Bake Off will be held virtually.
Due to the restrictions that are in place, we unfortunately won’t be able to taste all the amazing creations in the office as we did over the last 10 years – this year’s event will be held individually in your own homes while sharing photos of your efforts. However this will hopefully enable and encourage people from all parts of the ESB to take part in this great event. Important details:
• How – submit your picture(s) on Yammer using hashtag #ESBTradingBakeOff2020 • When – anytime between Friday 16th October and Monday 2nd November 2020 Categories/Awards:
• Best visual presentation
• Family fun
• WFH tea-break snack
• Spooky-licious/Halloween
Judges – as this will be Ken McKervey’s last Bake Off before his retirement, Ken volunteered to take up this important role together with our Bake Off expert Eileen Downey.
Each Bake Off entry will also be included in a draw for one of 5 One4All vouchers.
As always, it’s all for a good cause, as all funds raised will go to Dublin’s Simon Community and the Irish Cancer Society. Over the years, the event has been a great success, with people digging deep to support the chosen charities.
To track all donations and ensure that all the money raised are split between both charities equally, we set up a fundraising site for all donations:

Ready, Get Set, Bake! And donate!!!
Regards, Dusan & Lidia
