5K Challenge – last chance to register today!! / ElectricAid
A reminder that the 5k Challenge will take place this Thursday, 20 June at 6:30pm.
If you haven’t registered yet, our online Registration Form will be open till 5pm Tuesday, 18 June 2019. Join us as a runner, a jogger or a walker – all speeds catered for!
We’re still looking for volunteers to help on the day to look after registration or marshalling on the course. We’d love to hear from you here. For more information click 5K Challenge

Death of Raymond ‘Shiner’ Sheehan, HV Lines Waterford / Jimmy Purcell
It is with great sadness that I inform you of the death of our good friend and colleague Shiner Sheehan, formerly of Transmission Waterford. Sadly missed by all his friends in ESB Gracedieu Waterford.
Funeral arrangements as follows:
Reposing at his Residence 61 Dominic’s Place, Waterford on Wednesday June 19th from 4pm with Prayers at 7pm,
Removal on Thursday Morning June 20th to Holy Family Church, Luke Wadding Street, via from Griffith Place Arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am
Followed by Cremation in the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork at 3pm

Retirement of Ray Aherne, Fleet, Tools & Equipment, ESB Networks
After more than 40 years of service, Ray Aherne has decided to hang up his PPE and focus on his passion for writing!
Over his years in ESB, Ray has made many friends while working in Civil Works Dept., Manpower Department, Central Stores, Dundalk, Cavan, HR Networks and finally Fleet Tools and Equipment.
To celebrate his retirement, a function will be held in the Grand Canal Hotel, Upper Grand Canal Street, Dublin 4, this Thursday, 20th of June at 5.30pm.
Ray would like to invite his many current and former colleagues and friends from across ESB to join him on the night.
