Bereavements

Thank you from Martina Hickey / Martina Hickey
I would like to thank all my ESB friends and colleagues for their support following the recent death of my mother Ciss Clifford. I really appreciate the phone calls, emails, cards, texts and condolences posted on RIP.ie. In the current strange and difficult times this support has been invaluable to me and my family in helping us cope with our loss.

Retirement of Tony Mulvany / Seamus Reilly
After 21 years’ service in ESB our friend and colleague Tony Mulvany is retiring on 12th June. Tony worked abroad for many years in America before returning to Ireland and joining ESB Supply Chain Ballycoolin, he then moved to Dundalk stores for a time and finally to Cavan stores, although Tony is a true “Dub” while living in Cavan he adapted well to the rural countryside and the rolling hills of Cavan and became a keen agricultural advisor to many local farmers. Those of us who have worked with Tony will appreciate his commitment and dedication to ESB over the years. His outgoing nature and good humour will be sorely missed around Cavan and among his work colleague’s in Supply Chain. No doubt Tony will focus on his interest as a radio presenter and his passion for broadcasting, don’t be surprised if you hear Tony on Shannonside radio or Joe Duffy in the near future. Tony is planning to have a function at a later date, details will be advised nearer the time. All his colleagues & friends send him best wishes for a happy & healthy retirement.
