Diarmuid Doyle is retiring / Diarmuid Doyle
Just a reminder about Diarmuid’s Retirement Celebration – tomorrow evening (Thurs 12th) Kennedy’s Westland Row 5pm until late. Finger food and an eclectic music mix are promised.
Brendan McCullagh is retiring /
After an epic 42 years of service, Brendan McCullagh has announced his retirement.
Brendan worked in a variety of locations before finding his true calling in 1987 when he joined Group Insurance.
Brendan has made a huge contribution to every part of the organisation over the years and is considered by the insurance market to be one of the leading insurance practitioners in Ireland. He is highly respected throughout the Irish and London insurance markets, and where he has developed incredible long term relationships.
Brendan is responsible for the creation, innovation and ongoing success of the ESB Staff Insurance Schemes which offers Home, Motor and Travel Insurance to ESB staff, present and retired, and which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
The Group Insurance Charity Event was also Brendan’s brainchild, starting from humble beginnings in the Legal Law Library in 1991. This event has grown to be one of the most significant staff engagement events in ESB’s social calendar and has raised approximately €200,000 to date.
To mark his retirement Brendan would be delighted to share this special event with his many friends and colleagues at 5.30pm on Friday 20TH September in Lansdowne FC (Rugby Club,4 Lansdowne Road & next to the Aviva stadium) .
