Deadline dates for Expenses Claims / Expenses & Time Tullamore Please note deadlines below in respect of Expense Claims.
All expenses claims should be Approved on line, and in the case of receipted claims, received in Expenses & Time, Tullamore by the following dates:- • 06/12/19 – To guarantee payment before Christmas
• 11/12/19 – To be included in 2019 payments
Staff claiming expenses which is now out of policy, please familiarise yourself with the “ESB Group Travel & Subsistence Expenses Policy”, which dictates the level of approval required to process these claims.(See extract below) Time limit for claims/reimbursement
Expenses should be claimed as soon as possible after the date incurred. Where an expense claim exceeds the time limit or the job is finished or closed, the approving manager is required to forward the expenses claim to the appropriate approving person as set out in the table below:
Age of Expenses/ Overtime
Approver (in addition to claimants line manager)
• Over 9 months old – Cannot be reclaimed
• Over 6 months old – BU Executive Director
• Over 3 months old – Direct Report to BU Executive Director
• Expenses on a job that is finished or closed and under 9 months old – Direct Report to BU Executive Director

People Leaving
Seamus Gray is retiring /
After 41 years of dedicated service, Seamus Gray, Revenue Protection and Database Manager, has decided to retire and move to the next chapter of his life. Seamus has been a fantastic colleague and friend to many of us over the years in functions as diverse as Materials, Finance, HR, Production Support and Retail Market Services.
To mark his departure, Seamus would like to invite his friends and colleagues to Bobby Byrnes Pub in Limerick at 5pm on Friday 22nd November.
We wish Seamus the very best of luck and good health in the years ahead and thank him for his commitment and support over many years in ESB.

On Behalf of my wife Maria, my family and myself I would like to thank all those who attended my retirement night last Friday night your presence was greatly appreciated. Also to those that sent emails, texts, cards and rang to wish me well in my retirement a big thank you. As I said on my retirement night Michael Doyle has left the building
