Liberty Bell Project- Update / Brian Gray

Currently 33 cyclists from ESB have signed up to participate in the Liberty Bell Project trials, a qualitative road safety survey from the cyclist’s perspective. Liberty Bell will be in Gateway on Monday lunchtime, 12:00-2:00p.m.
To participate you must have your own bike and your smart phone must meet these requirements:
• the app supports smartphones running iOS 8.1 and above, and Android 4.4 and above.
• a data plan is needed on your smartphone, so the app can post to the server in real time.
• most bikes can be accommodated, but it must be your own bike (not a DublinBike).
• we can’t guarantee the Liberty Bell will fit all handlebars, but the bells fit comfortably on conventional 22.2mm (7/8 inch) diameter handlebars.
If you have already volunteered, you will receive an email later today re Monday, which you must RSVP in advance of Monday. And they will have another date in October for bell set up in Dublin if people can’t make Monday.
Its also still not too late to sign up, if you cycle in the Greater Dublin Area – http://www.libertybell.io/dublin
