Teams representing corporations such as the ESB, Google, Intel, Microsoft, Rabobank and Aamazon will take part this year. The competition will be held on Saturday May 7th, and promises to be an entertaining day out for fans and families alike.

Results: St Anne’s Park – DCC Road Races 2016

The BHAA summer league kicked off on a distinctly un-summery day on Saturday, 2 April with the DCC Road Race in St. Anne’s Park, Raheny. This fixture was the final leg of the Lord Mayor’s 5 alive challenge, which ensured a large turnout of over 400 athletes.ESB’s women had a great day, with Edel Haverty taking 8th place overall and Tara Ni Reachtagain close behind in 11th. Unfortunately, three athletes are required to form a team, and the women missed out on what would have been a certain team prize. So for any women in the club who are considering taking part in a race, please do come along, you might just win a prize! The men also had a good day out; new club member Aidan Jones took 9th place overall, followed by Stephen Naughton 53rd, Charlie Cronin 88th and Stephen Walsh 132nd. The men’s team picked up 3rd place in Class B. Full results can be found on the BHAA website: https://bhaa.ie/events/dcc-road-races-2016/The next race is the K-Club Straffan 10k this Saturday, April 9 : https://bhaa.ie/events/k-club-10k-2016/
