Help David slay Goliath … Leitrim style! / Cyril Loughlin
If you are from Leitrim, or would like to support Leitrim GAA, please contact me re. their upcoming Supporters Club draw. What this small county (32,000 pop) manages to achieve is remarkable. Last May our senior footballers defeated New York in a pulsating Connacht Champ game in Gaelic Park. This year, they are unbeaten at the top of Div 4 with a new manager and a new team – how do they keep it going against the odds?
On Sunday next Leitrim tackle London (10M pop) in a promotion decider in Carrick-on-Shannon. Every Euro raised for the draw on 6th April will be greatly appreciated and, who knows, you might win yourself a nice prize (see attached).
