Retirement of Sean Mooney Home Services Electric Ireland / Niall Dineen
On Friday 25th January our good friend and colleague Sean Mooney will bid farewell to ESB to concentrate on his many other interests, including travel to exotic places such as India and a planned train journey through Europe but first off Sean is taking on the challenge of college again, to study History of all things!!
Throughout Sean’s 40 years of dedicated service to ESB, he has worked in many areas of the business – far too many to mention here but just to give a flavour of his career, Sean started out as an electrician in Dublin City before leaving his tools behind to take up a role in Load Development. This was really the beginning of Sean’s career as he subsequently sojourned in Human Resources for a while before taking up the position of Energy Services Manager in Fleet Street. He was then appointed to a senior role on the Market Opening Project based in Portlaoise and finally took on the challenging task of setting up a new business unit, to help deliver on ESBs target, to reduce carbon emissions in the Residential sector.
To celebrate his many achievements and to reminisce on times past, Sean would like to invite his many friends and colleagues throughout ESB, to join him, in the Harbour Master, Customs House Dock IFSC, Dublin 1, D01 W0X8, on Friday 25th January commencing at 5.30pm
Anyone who would like to be associated with Sean’s retirement should contact:
