Eddie Byrne, RIP – late of Dublin Supply Store, Ballycoolin & Polefield East Wall / Liam Thompson
The death has occurred of our friend and colleague Eddie Byrne. Late of Dublin Supply Store, Ballycoolin and Polefield East Wall. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Margaret and his children at this difficult time. He will be deeply missed by all. Funeral arrangements to follow.

Michael Casey, Father of Anne-Marie and Michelle Casey RIP / Aine McGarry
The death has occurred of Michael Casey, Father of our colleagues Anne-Marie and Michelle Casey.
Prayers at Our Lady of Dolours Church, Glasnevin on Tuesday 8 January at 5.30. Requiem Mass on Wednesday 9 January at 11.30 followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery. Family flowers only please. May He Rest in Peace.

On behalf of my family and myself, I want to thank you for a such a marvellous send off at my retirement function just before Christmas. I also want to say thank you to all who could not make it but offered best wishes and kind words.
My family were very touched by the event and the numbers that attended. They were very, very, appreciative of the way they were made very welcome and looked after. As I said on the night, I am very grateful for the opportunities that ESB has given me over my career, and in particular the opportunity to meet and become friends with so many wonderful people.
I wish each of you a very happy New Year and great success for the future.
