Fundraising

Shiver for Simon / Graham Tobin
I am part of a small team from Michael Smurfit Business school who are running a charity swim for Dublin Simon Community. It is more a dip in the sea than a swim so if you are not afraid of water come along for this good cause.
Why am I dipping into the Balmy Irish sea in April? Well it is simple. Most of us are lucky enough to have a door to close behind us. Protection from the harsh reality of the cold Irish climate. However, thousands of Irish citizens don’t have that basic protection and face the elements every day.
Join us on April 6th for Shiver for Simon as we connect with the cold in aid of the Dublin Simon Community who assist and changes lives everyday.

Retirement of Dave O’Brien, HR P&OD / Tom McMahon
Our friend and colleague Dave O’Brien , People & OD (and up to very recently, HR Networks) has decided to retire. However, for most of the last 20 years, Dave has worked in HR and has made a very significant contribution specifically in the Coaching & Mentoring area as a Business Coach. His skills and deep understanding of this area will be sorely missed.
Dave would like all his friends in ESB to join him and his family in celebrating his retirement on Thursday 11th April from 5.30pm upstairs in Toners, Lr Baggot St. If you like to be associated with Dave’s retirement please contact; Denise Fannin, Clanwilliam ext 26632 or
