Waste Segregation – do you know what goes in each bin? / Peter Morgan
A recent audit of compost (brown) bins has highlighted continued poor behaviours in the segregation of waste.
Rigid plastics (e.g. fruit punnets, yoghurt pots etc.) should always be placed in the recycling (green) bin as long as they are clean, dry and loose.
Soft plastics like cling film, coffee cups and other general waste should go into the red bin.
