Sale of Christmas Gifts for Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind / Ciaran Doran
There will be a sale of Christmas gifts in aid of Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind in the Gateway restaurant this Wednesday, 19th, from 10am to 1pm.

Death of Anthony (Dan) O’Neill Brother of Oliver O’Neill / Frank O Neill
It is with great sadness that I wish to advise of the passing of Anthony (Dan) O’Neill Brother of Oliver O’Neill ESB Networks Athlone.
Reposing at St.Bridget’s Funeral Home, Brideswell on Tuesday evening from 4.30pm with removal at 7pm to St. Bridget’s Church, Drum. Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday morning at 11am with burial afterwards in the local cemetery. May he rest in peace.
Death of Mary CLOHESSY, Mother of Michael Clohesssy, E.O. Tipperary / Ed Hunt
The Death has occurred of Mary Clohessy, Borrisoleigh, Tipperary,in the care of St. Theresa’s Nursing Home Thurles. Sadly missed by her son Michael, Daughter in Law Una and Family.
Reposing at Kennedys Funeral Home, Borrisoleigh this Monday evening 17th from 5pm with Removal at 7pm to The Sacred Heart Church, Borrisoleigh. Requiem Mass on Tuesday 11am

Retirement of Gerry McDonald, Group Internal Audit / Eamonn Connolly
After 40 years of service with ESB, Gerry McDonald will be officially retiring in early January. Gerry had his last working day on Thursday, 13th December.
Over the last 40 years Gerry worked in various roles in Distribution, Customer Supply BU, Electric Ireland and finally in Group Internal Audit.
There will be an opportunity for his friends and colleagues to help push the boat out to mark Gerry’s departure on 24th January in the Schoolhouse on Northumberland Rd. A reminder and details will be sent out shortly after the Christmas break.
