Bryan Murray, RIP – father of Bernard, HR Customer Solutions / Lesley Murphy
The death has occured of Bryan Murray, father of our colleague & friend Bernard, HR Customer Solutions. May He Rest in Peace.
Our thoughts & prayers are with Bernard and his family at this sad time.
Funeral details:
MURRAY, Ballynagleragh, Lattin, Co. Tipperary & formerly Hillstreet, Kilmore, Co Roscommon & Lattin Oil Co. – 17th January 2019. Bryan – Deeply regretted by his loving wife Eileen, daughter Louise, sons Patrick & Bernard, daughter-in-law, Mary, brother Gerard, sisters Mary (Gaffney) & Carmel (Kelly), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, grand-children, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his home (E34 D288) this Saturday from 5.30pm; removal at 8.00pm to Church of the Assumption, Lattin. Funeral Mass Sunday at 11.00am. Burial immediately afterwards in Lattin Old Cemetery.

Reminder: Gerry McDonald – Retirement from GIA / Eamonn Connolly
After 40 years service with ESB, Gerry McDonald has handed in his commuter ticket and retired as of 7th Jan.
Over the last 40 years Gerry worked in various roles between Dundalk and Clanwilliam/Head Office – working in Distribution, Customer Supply BU, Electric Ireland and most recently in Group Internal Audit.
Gerry would like to mark his retirement with his friends and colleagues on Thursday, 24th January in the Schoolhouse on Northumberland Rd, from 5.30pm onwards.
Anyone wishing to be associated with Gerry’s departure can contact Eamonn Connolly or Pam O’Shea in Group Internal Audit.
Retirement Function of Sean Martin & Nicky Cummins / Jim Hennessy
After a combined total of 96 years Sean & Nicky retired in 2018. Having started together in 1970 they are now having their retirement function together on the 25th January in Fenenssys Bar @ 17:00.

Retirement of Joe Carr, Lifting Ger Maintenance F&E, Dundalk. / Paul Dennehy
After almost 44 years’ service with ESB, Joe Carr will be officially retiring on Friday 8th of February 2019.
Joe started his apprenticeship in Dundalk all those years ago and spent a time working in Dublin before returning to Drogheda as a senior jointer where he passed on his extensive knowledge to many. He also spent some time on the switch board and spent the latter stage of his career carrying out statutory inspections as a member of the Lifting Gear Maintenance Team in the North East for F&E.
Joe has made many good and long standing friendships in ESB and will be missed by all and we wish Joe and Ann every happiness and success long into the future.
Joe would like to welcome his current and former colleagues and friends to his retirement function in Byrne’s pub, Hill Street, Dundalk at 8p.m. on Friday 8th of February at 8.00p.m. Paul Dennehy
Retirement of Michael Moran Carlow/Kilkenny /
We bid farewell to our friend and colleague Michael Moran after 40 years’ service. Michael started his career in ESB Networks in Carlow, worked on the Arklow 220 line to Carrickmines, was the Construction Supervisor in ESB Networks Carlow/Kilkenny for many years and finally in FMR Project Delivery South Division.
Wishing you all the joy and happiness in your retirement. May you enjoy your next adventure to the fullest.
