AGM, May 1st, G2 @ 3.30pm / ElectricAid
All members are cordially invited to ElectricAid’s 2019 AGM.
The meeting is at 3.30 pm in the Conference Room, Gateway Two, on Wednesday 1st of May. We will be serving tea, coffee and refreshments from 3.00 pm.
Please do come along – ElectricAid belongs to all of you, our members. As well as reviewing our work in 2018, we will be electing a new Committee.
The meeting will start off with a report from one of ElectricAid’s overseas aid partners. Please RSVP to electricaid@esb.ie

It is with sadness that we notify you of the death of Margaret Ennis mother of Peter Ennis (Engineering and Major Projects) on the 21st April.

It is with sadness that we notify you of the death of Swithin (Mac) McArdle, father of Dermot McArdle (Customer Solutions) on 21st April.
Reposing at Jennings Funeral Home, Oscar Traynor Road, Coolock on Thursday between 4pm and 6pm. Removal on Friday 26th April to St. Monica’s Church, Edenmore arriving for 10am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Fingal Cemetery. Have you registered for Darkness Into Light 2019? / Isabelle O’Neill Only 16 days until Darkness Into Light, have you registered?
On Saturday, May 11th it is anticipated that a quarter of a million people in over 200 venues across 19 countries and 5 continents will walk from Darkness Into Light.
With less than 100 staff packs remaining we would encourage anyone taking part to email sponsorship@electricireland.ie as soon as possible. Please include your name, email address and venue you will be attending, also the information of any friends or family who would like to receive a volunteer pack.
The unique event, which is symbolic of the journey from despair to hope, begins in darkness at 4.15am. Thousands of people will walk a 5-kilometre route into the light of dawn. Funds raised from Darkness Into Light help keep Pieta’s counselling services free of charge and freely accessible. Join us in waking from Darkness into Light and Experience the Power of Hope

Ladies Gaelic Football Inter-Firm Blitz / Shauna Brady
The LGFA is holding a ladies Gaelic football inter-firms blitz on Saturday 18th May in Naomh Mearnog GAA (Portmarnock), Dublin. Team size: 7-a-side (Panel of 12)
2 blitzes will be held on the day:
1. Competitive: Where companies will compete to be crowned LGFA Interfirm champions 2019 (dependent on number of teams – there may be a Cup and a Shield Final)
2. Recreational: No matter the level experience or ability, an opportunity to play lots of football, socialise with your co-workers, other companies and have fun playing lots of football.
