AIG Workfit Sessions / firstname.lastname@example.org
AIG WorkFit is a unique employee wellbeing programme designed in partnership with Dublin GAA. Using the insights and experience of both players and employees from the high performance Dublin GAA team, AIG have created a programme designed to assist employees in implementing wellbeing activities that can assist them in the workplace.
AIG are a key Insurer for ESB, and provide a range of insurance products to ESB including Property and Business interruption insurance and Financial Lines coverage. Due to this partnership with AIG, we have secured two 50-minute back-to-back sessions on Thursday 25th April in Gateway Three Conference Room. 11:00 – 11:50

We are delighted to announce these sessions will be MC’d by James Brogan with special guest Dublin GAA Football stars Niamh Collins and Johnny Copper, who will demonstrate some of the techniques used by leading GAA stars to manage their own wellbeing both on and off the field incorporating high performance mind-set.

Ardnacrusha Power Station Summer Tours / Aisling Delaney
We are once again opening the gates of the historic Ardnacrusha Power Station to schools and the general public for a unique visitor experience into Ireland’s first national hydro-electric station in Co. Clare this summer.
School group visits are being facilitated from 23 May to 28 June 2019, while public tours run from 1 July to 13 September 2019. The free guided tours run from Monday to Friday, run for approximately 90 minutes and each tour can accommodate groups of up to 30. All bookings can be made online at www.esb.ie/ ardnacrushatours.

On Saturday, May 11th it is anticipated that a quarter of a million people in over 200 venues across 19 countries and 5 continents will walk from Darkness Into Light.
With less than 50 staff packs remaining we would encourage anyone taking part to email firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. Please include your name, email address and venue you will be attending, also the information of any friends or family who would like to receive a volunteer pack.
The unique event, which is symbolic of the journey from despair to hope, begins in darkness at 4.15am. Thousands of people will walk a 5-kilometre route into the light of dawn. Funds raised from Darkness Into Light help keep Pieta’s counselling services free of charge and freely accessible. Join us in waking from Darkness into Light and Experience the Power of Hope

Pat Stack – Retirement / Peter Murphy
Pat Stack retires in July 2019 after just short of 40 years’ service.
Pat worked in many areas of ESB, including Accounts Department in Dublin, Revenue Unit in Limerick, Payroll Unit in Cork, followed by Information Systems Department in Head Office and latterly in Facilities.
Pat would like to invite his many friends and colleagues from across the organisation, to celebrate his retirement with him on Friday 24th May, in Doheny & Nesbitts, Baggot Street, from 6pm onwards.
