Death of David Newman, father of Graham Newman, Enterprise Services, ITS / Dave Byrne
It is with great sadness that we advise you of the death of David Newman who died unexpectedly at his home after a short illness. Loving father of Anna-Maria, John, Sharon, Graham, Kenneth, Michelle and the late Mark and beloved partner of Helen. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, his children’s partners, his grandchildren and great-grandchild, relatives and friends. May he Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Browne’s Funeral Home, Enniscorthy on Tuesday from 5 o’clock to 7 o’clock. Funeral arriving at the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally on Wednesday morning for Funeral Mass at 10 o’clock. Burial afterwards in Glasnevin Cemetery.

Retirement of Dave O’Brien, HR, People and Organisation Development / Tom McMahon
Our friend and colleague Dave O’Brien, People and Organisation Development, and up to very recently, HR Networks has decided to retire.
Dave has worked in many different parts of ESB and in many different roles, orignally in Transmission Dept, through Distribution, Technical Training, Transform Project in Networks, Communications and Asset Mgt.
However, for most of the last 20 years, Dave has worked in HR and has made a very significant contribution specifically in the Coaching and Mentoring area as a Business Coach. His skills and deep understanding of this area will be sorely missed.

Retirement of Liam Molloy, CIO, Enterprise Services /
REMINDER:
After a 47 year career with ESB, Liam Molloy, CIO, Enterprise Services will retire on Thursday 28 March 2019.
Liam would like to invite his current and former colleagues and friends to his retirement function in Venue 35, Anne’s Lane, Dublin 2 (entry via Dawson Hotel, Dawson Street, opposite the Mansion House) on 28 March 2019 at 18.00.
Liam started his long and distinguished career in Galway in 1972 and over the next 47 years moved to numerous ESB locations including a stint in Bahrain.
Over these years, Liam has held many senior leadership positions across ESB, and in his own inimitable, energetic and innovative style, has always made a significant and positive contribution to the success of ESB, most recently as CIO, Enterprise Services and General Manager, Electric Ireland.
