SPORTSCO AGM – Reminder / SPORTSCO
Reminder that the AGM for SPORTSCO takes place this evening the 30th of April at 6pm at SPORTSCO.

Bereavements

Death of Margaret Byrne, Mother of Declan Byrne , IT Delivery, Dublin /
Unexpectedly at her home. Beloved wife of the late John (recently deceased), loving mother of Declan and Mark and much loved sister of Marie, Sadie, Bud and the late Chrissie. Sadly missed by her loving sons, sisters, daughters-in-law Emma and Georgina, grandchildren Chloe, Emily and Grace, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May she Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her home tomorrow (Tuesday 30th April) from 2 o’ clock. Funeral arriving at Davidstown Parish Church on Wednesday (1st May) for Funeral Mass at 11 o’ clock. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private on Wednesday morning please. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Wexford Hospice Homecare.

Ardnacrusha Power Station Summer Tours / Aisling Delaney
We are once again opening the gates of the historic Ardnacrusha Power Station to schools and the general public for a unique visitor experience into Ireland’s first national hydro-electric station in Co. Clare this summer.
School group visits are being facilitated from 23 May to 28 June 2019, while public tours run from 1 July to 13 September 2019. The free guided tours run from Monday to Friday, last approximately 90 minutes and each tour can accommodate groups of up to 30. All bookings can be made online at www.esb.ie/ardnacrushatours.
Please note separate dates above for schools and public tours before making a booking.

People Leaving

Retirement of Liam Bennett, Governance Manager, People & Organisation Development / Noeline Gibbons
After a distinguished career spanning almost 40 years, Liam Bennett, Governance Manager, People & Organisation Development, has decided to retire.
In 1980, Liam commenced his ESB career as a Civil Engineer initially assigned to Civil Works Department before moving to Shared Services, Networks and finally Corporate Centre. Throughout his career he has held a variety of technical, specialist and senior leadership positions culminating in his current role as Governance Manager. Liam has made an invaluable contribution to ESB and his integrity, modesty, expertise and good humour have inspired others and are the signature of his success.
Liam has made many long standing friendships in ESB and will be missed by all. We have all enjoyed working with him and wish him every happiness and success in the future.
Liam would like to invite his friends and colleagues to an informal farewell in the Waterloo Bar, 36 Baggot Street Upper, Dublin 4, on Wednesday 29 May 2019 from 5pm onwards.
