Lunch & Learn: Acting on single use plastics in ESB / Brian Gray
Under our #BrighterFuture strategy, ESB’s ambition is to lead Ireland’s transition to a low carbon future. This aspiration is based upon the knowledge that climate change is the single biggest challenge facing humanity today.

Leadership means leading across all aspects of ESB’s potential for carbon impact, the big and the small, from assets to operations. In earlier Lunch & Learns we have heard from both experts and employees on EV ownership and heat pump retrofits.

In this lunch and learn, we will explore one of the most visible aspects of our operations to all employees, our catering and canteen services. ‘Single-use’ has been voted the word of the year 2018, we will hear from experts on what all the fuss about plastic is about, we will explore what is involved in removing single use plastics from our employee services, there will be a Q&A and a call to action.

Join us on Tuesday 20th November at 12:30p.m. in Gateway 3 Conference Room. To book a slot and ensure we have enough sandwiches, please book a slot by emailing sustainability

Due to the media being used for this Lunch and Learn it won’t be broadcast via Skype.

If you are unable to attend in person, but would like to see this discussion taking place at your workplace, please contact us at sustainability

Keep an eye out for diary dates for this event in Clanwilliam and Leopardstown locations.
