Death of Maureen Hogan (RIP) – Mother of Pat Hogan, Ardnacrusha & Hydro Stations / Anne Reynolds Funeral Arrangements are as follows:
Reposing at Lynch/Kelly funeral home Cappamore this Thursday evening from 6pm to 8.30pm followed by removal to St. Michael’s Church, Cappamore. Requiem Mass on Friday at 11.30am with burial afterwards in St Michael’s Cemetery, Tipperary Town.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Pat and his Family at this sad time. May She Rest In Peace.

Christy Rafter – Retiremant / Owen Kilmurray / Ger Brennan
After more than 38 years of service, Christy Rafter has reached full retirement age and will retire from ESB on Friday 30th November. Christy has been based in Kylemore Road, Tallaght, and Leopardstown and worked on cable jointing, substations, and Operations in his career. Christy has been a staff representative, Safety Rep., and social event organiser throughout his career.
He has developed an encyclopaedic knowledge of the networks in Tallaght which he has put to good use in customer response especially while on call.
Over his years in ESB, Christy has made many friends while working in Kylemore Road, Tallaght, and Leopardstown. He has always been very generous in sharing his knowledge and skills with his colleagues.
To celebrate his retirement, a function will be held in the Thomas Davis GAA Club, Kiltipper Road on Friday November 30th at 8pm.
Christy would like to invite his many current and former colleagues and friends to join him on the 30th for a night of music and craic.

Thank you for the Christmas Shoeboxes / Kevin Young
Thank you for your time and generosity in supporting the Christmas Shoebox appeal again this year.
214 beautifully wrapped and full shoeboxes left ESB Matthews Building earlier today to join hundreds of other shoeboxes making their way to children who otherwise would not receive a gift this Christmas. Thank you to ESB staff from the following locations who donated Shoeboxes: Gateway, Clanwilliam, ESBI Airport, Leopardstown, Merrion Sq, Swift Sq, Broomhill Road, Matthews Building. Shoeboxes were also donated locally from Wilton, Cork, Eastgate, Cork, Waterford and Athlone. Please see note of Thanks attached.
