Death of Des Taylor (Father of Darina Gallagher, Electric Ireland) /
The death has occurred of Des Taylor, Father of Darina Gallagher, HR, Electric Ireland. Arrangements are as follows:
Reposing at his residence today (Friday 2nd February). Removal on Saturday morning to the Church of the Holy Spirit, Ballyroan arriving for 10am Requiem Mass, funeral thereafter to Cruagh Cemetery. No flowers please. Donations, if desired to St. Vincent de Paul (donation box at Church). Our thoughts and prayers are with Darina and her family at this difficult time.

Eddie Forde (Father of Ted, Turlough Hill) RIP /
The death has occurred of Eddie Forde, father of Ted, Mechanical FLM, Turlough Hill & Liffey Stations:
Eddie Forde, Coolmanagh, Hacketstown, Co. Carlow – 1st February 2018 peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny; Deeply regretted by his loving wife Margaret, sons Ted and Niall, daughter Nora, daughter-in-law Mary, son-in-law Brendan, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, grandchildren Ella, Darragh, Conor, Emer and Ashling, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May Eddie rest in peace.
Reposing in Halligan’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Rathvilly from 3pm on Friday with removal from there at 6.30pm to St. Brigid’s Church, Hacketstown arriving for 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am with burial afterwards in Hacketstown Cemetery.

Fintan (The Jeweller) Phelan Retires / Rioghnach Buckley
Fintan Phelan (the Jeweller) has decided to retire after 1 year’s service out of many!!. He will be sorely missed by all the lads in the Naas yard.
Fintan would like his friends and colleagues to join him for drinks in Lock 13, Sallins on Friday 9th February from 7.30pm.
