Gurdial Kaur Basi, RIP – Mother of Jag Basi, Generation & Wholesale Markets / Declan O’Brien
Gurdial Kaur Basi, mother of Jag Basi, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on 30th December 2017 after a brief time in hospital.
The funeral service will take place on Wednesday 10th January 2018 in Derby, UK. Contact undersigned for details.
Jag also plans to hold a memorial service at the Sikh Temple in Dublin at a later date. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jag and his family at this sad time.

Margaret Jeffers, RIP – Wife of our former colleague Christy Jeffers / Dick Bourke
It is with regret that we have learned of the death of Margaret Jeffers – wife of our former colleague and friend Christy.
Funeral arrangements as follows:Jeffers, Margaret (nee Cronin) (Ballybrown, Clarina, Co. Limerick, formerly of Fr. Russell Road) 3rd January 2018, suddenly. Beloved wife of Christy. Dearly loved mother of Tony and Laura. Reposing at her home on Friday evening from 4pm to 7pm. Removal on Saturday to St Joseph’s Church, Ballybrown for Requiem Mass at 1pm followed by Cremation Service at Shannon Crematorium at 2.30pm. Our thoughts are with Christy and his family at this sad time. May she rest in peace.

Michael (Mick) Dalton, RIP, ESB South Lotts Road / Pat Lelas
Dalton, Michael (Mick) (Sutton, Dublin 13 and ESB) – 2nd January 2018 at the Bon Secours Hospital after a long illness. Beloved husband of Judy and much loved father of Keith, Lee, Kim and Rikki. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons and daughters; their partners Lisa, Martin and son-in-law Kevin. Also his mother-in-law Betty, sisters-in-law Gabrielle and Carol, brother-in-law Rory, nieces Lorna and Loren, nephew Kevin, sister Linda, brother Derek, extended family, work colleagues, and his many friends.
Reposing at his home on Thursday from 4pm until 7pm. Removal on Friday morning to Church of St. Vincent de Paul, Griffith Avenue, Marino arriving at 11.20am for 11.30am Requiem Mass. Funeral thereafter to Old Balgriffin Cemetery. Family flowers only by request. Donations if desired to the ‘Bon Secours Oncology Day Ward’ in appreciation of the wonderful care they provided for Michael. “May he Rest in Peace”

Water Bucket Update! / James Foley, ElectricAid
Your generosity continues to astound. As of this morning (04.01.2018) our Water Bucket is brimming with a grand total of €12,500. This is a wonderful response, well beyond our expectations, which will enable two village-level WASH projects, changing the lives of hundreds of people with clean and accessible water and sanitation.
The Bucket is open until the end of January. Refund cheques are still arriving. Let’s fill that bucket again!
