Sports & Social

Celbridge Camera Club / Philip Grehan
Welcome to Celbridge Camera Club!
We are one of the biggest clubs in the country and we meet weekly, on Mondays in order to promote and better our photography. We welcome all types of photographers and all levels of ability. Our formal season starts in September 4th @ 8pm and runs until June, at which point evening outings take over until the end of August. We hold an Annual Exhibition at the end of the season and organise regular internal photographic competitions. We also arrange competitions with other Clubs and are regular entrants in National Club competitions.
The Club also organises regular photographic outings and has a lively social life. Weekend trips have been organised to The Saltee Islands, Aran Islands, Inishbofin, Cape Clear, Tory Island and The Burren. The Club has also undertaken overseas outings to India, Iran, South Africa, Cuba and the UK.
The Club is a member of the Irish Photograpic Federation (IPF) which, in turn, is affiliated to the Federation International de l’Art Photographique (FIAP). We are active participants in the Distinctions programmes of both organisations.
During the Summer we meet at Castletown Gates each Monday at 19.30 for a series of evening outings.
New members are always welcome – just come down any Monday night and see what you think!
