Death of Nora Forde, Mother of John Forde IT Delivery /
Nora Forde (nee Duffy), Main St, Easkey, Co. Sligo. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina on Friday evening from 5pm with removal at 7pm to St. James Church, Easkey, arriving at 7.45pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11:00am with funeral proceeding to Roslea, Cemetery, Easkey

Retirement of Jim O Brien, Control Room Operator, Network Operations / Mike Casey
After almost 50 years of dedicated service within ESB, Jim O Brien will log out from his Scada screens for the last time on Friday 29th March 2019.
Jim joined the ESB as an apprentice Electrician in September 1969 based in Albert Road. When Jim qualified as an Electrician he was appointed into Cork City Area where he worked as an on call Electrician until February 2005. Jim was then appointed as a Control Room Operator in SDCC from early 2005 where he has work on shift for the last 14 years monitoring alarms and operating on the Distribution System.
Jim has made many good and long standing friendships in ESB and will be missed by all and we wish Jim and Kay every happiness and health long into the future.
Jim would like to welcome his current and former colleagues and friends to his retirement function which will be held in The Courtyard Sober on Lane Cork from 8pm on Friday 29th March. If you would like to be associated with a presentation to Jim please contact – Mike Casey, Wilton

Retirement of Paul O’Duffy, ESB International. / Don Palmer REMINDER – Yes it is tomorrow, Friday

After almost 39 years’ service with ESB, Paul O’Duffy will be retiring this coming Friday 8th of March 2019.
Paul joined Project Department in 1980 and initially worked on the Moneypoint Project. In latter decades, Paul has been synonymous with ESB International and more than likely has clocked up more air miles than anyone else in bringing ESB International to the world
Paul has made many good and long standing friendships in ESB and will be missed by all and we wish Paul and Clodagh every happiness and success long into the future.
Paul would like to welcome his current and former colleagues and friends to his retirement function which will begin at 4pm on Friday 8th March in the Dublin Airport building before adjourning to Doheny & Nesbitt in Baggot Street.
