Patrick Gately RIP – Father of Seamus Gately Athlone / Martin Mulhern The death has occured of Patrick Gately, father of Seamus Gately Lines Athlone.
Reposing at Dempsey’s Funeral Home Ballyforan on Thursday evening from 5pm until 8pm followed by removal to the church of Christ the Good Shepherd, Four Roads. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Tisrara Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Paliative Care.

Jim McCarthy EO Sth Lotts Rd Retires /
After over 50 years service Jim McCarthy EO South Lotts road is retiring on the 4th February. Jim joined ESB on 26th September 1967 as an apprentice electrician in the Dublin City District (Fleet St).
He worked as a cable jointer until 1981 and then moved to the records office as and EO. Jim relocated to South Lotts road in 1989 and continued to diligently record the very complex underground network in the Dublin city area. Jim will hand over the network recording to those of us left and will move to a new stage in his life. Jim will be missed for his help and support, his advice, his stories and banter!!! by all his colleagues in Dub Central and others in ESB.
Jim would like to invite his colleagues for a few drinks and chat in The Bath Pub, Bath Avenue, Dublin 4 on Friday 2nd February from 4:30 pm onwards.

Retirement of Vincent Flynn, Business Development Manager in ESB International / Maureen Ferguson
After nearly 40 years of service Vincent Flynn will be retiring from his role as Business Development Manager in ESB International. To mark this occasion we will recognise his excellent contribution to the Company on Friday 26th January 2018 at One Dublin Airport Central with a formal presentation.
