Frank Browning SCADA Manager NDCC Retires / Frank Giblin
After 47 years of dedicated service to ESB, Frank Browning has decided that the time has come to retire and concentrate on his many hobbies such as hill walking, mountaineering, travel, music and many more.
Over a long and distinguished career, Frank has worked in many locations within ESB – Transmission, BSC, and Networks.
However it’s in the development of SCADA within ESB that Frank is probably best known. As a leading light in this highly specialised discipline, he has been front and centre in the evolution of SCADA from the pioneering early days to the state of the art critically depended on system it is today. His expertise in this area will be sorely missed.
There will be a presentation to Frank in the Leopardstown Road canteen on his last day of work, Friday May 26th at 4.30pm and Frank would like to invite his friends and colleagues to join him for drinks and refreshments in the Goat Grill, Goatstown afterwards.
We wish Frank and his family many years of happiness in retirement as he sets off to scale ever more mountain peaks and pursue his love of global travel. If you would like to contribute to Frank’s retirement, please contact Frank Giblin – Leopardstown Road (43378)
