After a long and distinguished career spanning more than 49 years, Jimmy Kirk has decided to take his leave from ESB on 16th January 2021.
From his initial appointment on 27th September 1971 as a youthful apprentice electrician in Dundalk and on to ESB Networks in Navan & Drogheda, through to his days as a supervisor in ESB Contracts, Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) in ESB Independent Energy in 2007, Electric Ireland, and finally to his role as Senior CRM in the B2B area of Customer Solutions dealing with some of the largest industrial customers on the island, Jimmy has made an enormous contribution to ESB and brightened the lives of all he encountered along the way. Jimmy has very fond memories of his time in ESB and those of us who have had the pleasure to work with him will greatly miss his wealth of experience, knowledge and sense of humour!
Due to current restrictions we cannot mark the occasion in the usual manner but when the circumstances allow we look forward to joining Jimmy and his family for a proper celebration.
In the interim, and to mark Jimmy’s last official day at work, we look forward to a Business Markets virtual coffee morning celebration with Jimmy on Friday 15th January.
