Flu Vaccine Voucher / ESB Health & Wellbeing
As the flu season is upon us, this is a gentle reminder that flu vouchers are available by contacting the Customer Support Centre on 01 7026699, Option 3 or by email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The vouchers can then be brought to any Boots pharmacy who are providing the vaccinations this year. Yours in health,

Log on to RTE Operation Transformation www.rte.ie/ot if you would like to get healtheir and fitter for the New Year by making some changes to your lifestyle (big or small). Watch the programme on Tuesday & Wednesday nights RTE 1 at 8.30 p.m.
Nationwide Walking Events will be taking place this Saturday 13th Jan. (See attached)

Jim McCarthy EO Sth Lotts Rd Retires /
After over 50 years service Jim McCarthy EO South Lotts Road is retiring on the 4th February. Jim joined ESB on 26th September 1967 as an apprentice electrician in the Dublin City District (Fleet St).
He worked as a cable jointer until 1981 and then moved to the records office as and EO. Jim relocated to South Lotts road in 1989 and continued to diligently record the very complex underground network in the Dublin city area. Jim will hand over the network recording to those of us left and will move to a new stage in his life. Jim will be missed for his help and support, his advice, his stories and banter!!! by all his colleagues in Dub Central and others in ESB.
Jim would like to invite his colleagues for a few drinks and chat in The Bath Pub, Bath Avenue, Dublin 4 on Friday 2nd February from 4:30 pm onwards.

Couch to 5km programme with ESB Athletic Club / ESB Athletic Club
Starting on Monday 29th January, we will be commencing a twice per week C25K programme over 10 weeks (Gateway based). Please get the word out to aspiring runners and those yet to act on their new year’s resolutions!!
ESB Athletic Club is firmly committed to promoting health and wellness within ESB and are keen to promote the benefits of jogging which are recognised as: • improved cardio vascular health
• stress reduction
• improved bone density
• influences better dietary decisions
• another avenue to serotonin release!
We also believe that participating in a group is likely to be far more entertaining and successful than trying to do this on your own. How much does it cost?
It is €10 to partake which gives all participants ESB AC membership for 2018.
