Bereavement

Death of Phyllis Wade mother of our former colleague Frank Wade (ITS) /
The death has occurred of Phyllis WADE (née Donnelly), peacefully, after a long illness in the care of the staff of The Mowlam Nursing Home, Rush; beloved wife of the late Thomas (Tommy) and loving sister of the late Sean and Rita. She will be sadly missed by her loving children Olive, Frank, Bernard and Sean, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand with family in attendance on Thursday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Removal on Friday morning at 9.30am, to the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, Marino arriving at 9.50am for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral thereafter to Dardistown Cemetery.

Christmas Concert in aid of Capuchin Centre for Homeless – Free Admission / Patrick Walsh
Dublin Gospel Choir’s annual Christmas Concert in aid of the Capuchin Day Centre for the homeless takes place this Sunday 18th December at 8.00pm in St Mary of the Angels church, Church St Dublin. Admission is FREE with any donations big or small really appreciated on the night. It will be an uplifting concert with a soulful mix of Christmas and Gospel songs – it’s going to be a packed house – get there early to get a seat!

ESB Trading: Sing for Simon

‘Tis the season – and, as is now tradition, ESB Trading will be raising funds for the Simon Communities through their yearly Christmas Carol service. Where and when
Come along and support the team, and maybe join in a few familiar tunes, at the Jervis Centre at 3.30pm on 22nd December.
Donations are very welcome on the day or you can pop along to Trading in Gateway 2.1

St. Mary’s Hospital for the Elderly Christmas Appeal / Meadhbh Connolly
REMINDER – Annual Appeal for St. Mary’s Hospital for the Elderly in Phoneix Park is taking place again. It has always been very well supported by ESB and if you would again like to be associated with it please donate a gift for distribution by Santa in the hospital on Christmas Eve. Please contact Meadhbh Connolly at mandpconnolly@yahoo.ie who will arrange to collect before 15th December.
