People Leaving

Charles Cullen Athlone – Retirement / david dwyer
Charles Cullen retires on Friday 20th October after 43 years service with ESB having started as an apprentice electrician in September 1974.
Charles spent much of his career in ESB Contracts as an electrician and then took on the role as a Power Quality Analyst.
Later he joined Underground Networks Asset Management where he applied his expertise. All of these roles were based from his beloved Athlone.
Charles was known as an excellent electrician and the ‘go to man’ in the Athlone depot territory. His high technical competence and diagnostic capability has been demonstrated many times throughout his long career.
Charles would like to mark the occasion with a function on Friday the 20th October from 5.30pm in Buccaneers Rugby club, The Bounty, Dubarry Park, Clonbrusk, Athlone, and wants to invite all his friends and colleagues that he has built up over the years to attend.

Retirement of Liam Rooney, Networks, Finglas /
To mark the occasion of Liam Rooney’s retirement, a function will be held in The Balrothery Inn on Friday 17th November at 7pm. All are welcome.
If you wish to contribute to Liam’s collection, please contact Joe Grimes, Finglas.

With more than 120 years service between them, George Mangan, Richie Desay and Barry MacHugh, Networks, Finglas are retiring.
