It is with deep regret that I inform you of the death of Liam Satchwell, father of our colleague and friend, Damien Satchwell. Our thoughts and prayers are with Damien and his family at this sad time. Funeral details below.

The death has occurred of Liam SATCHWELL
Ballintubber, Roscommon

LIAM SATCHWELL Ballyfinnegan, Ballintubber, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon. May 18th, 2023. (Peacefully), in the devoted care of the staff at the Roscommon Palliative Care Support Unit. Much loved husband of Bernadette and loving father to William, Damien, Michelle, Colm and Karl. He will be very sadly missed by his family, sisters May, Nora, Kathleen and Martina, brother Seamus, grandchildren Kayla, Liam, Cian, Zoe, Mia and Willow, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Liam is predeceased by his parents James and Nora and by his sisters Philomena and Annie. May Liam rest in peace.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Sunday evening from 4 o’clock until 6 o’clock. Removal from his home on Monday morning arriving to St Bride’s Church, Ballintubber (F45 AK50) for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 o’clock. Burial afterwards in Ballintubber Cemetery. The Satchwell family would like to convey their sincere thanks to those who looked after Liam in St Pius’ and St Joseph’s Ward at Galway University Hospital and also the team at the Roscommon Palliative Care Support Unit, The Kelly Henry Medical Centre and all who cared for him in his home. It is with deep regret we advise of the death of our Former Colleague Patrick O’Connell ex ESB Rosbrien Limerick and father of Danny O’Connell ESB Networks Newcastlewest. May He Rest in Peace
Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Ballyneety, on Friday, May 19th, from 5pm to 7.30pm.
Funeral will arrive at St. Patrick & Brigid’s Church, Grange, on Saturday, May 20th, for Requiem Mass at 1pm, followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Patrick’s Requiem Mass will be streamed live here

John will be reposing on Sunday afternoon (21st May) from 2pm to 4pm at the Larry Massey Funeral Home, the Eden Centre, Grange Road, Rathfarnham (Eircode: D16 VO46). Funeral will take place on Monday morning (May 22nd) at 10.30am in the Holy Cross Church, Dundrum Village followed by burial in Kilternan Park Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to the Irish Wildlife Trust.
