Credit Union 2017 Third Level Education Award / Savvi Credit Union
Congratulations to all students who successfully completed the 2017 Leaving Certificate and have been offered a place in third level college.
Applications are now invited for the 2017 Alan Gallagher Third Level Education Award which is open to the dependent children of Credit Union Members.
The value of the Education Award is €3,000 per annum for a maximum period of four years.
Important: Please note all applications for this award should be made directly to Savvi Credit Union separately to the ESB Education Awards

Credit Union Volunteer BOC Role / Savvi Credit Union
Are you eager to volunteer in your community? How much do you know about your credit union? Would you like to play a more active part in the Savvi Credit union?
A very exciting role has arisen for a position on the Board Oversight Committee (BOC) at the Savvi Credit Union (formerly St.Patricks). It will be a fantastic opportunity to oversee the board of directors and assess whether they are operating within the governance requirements set out in legislation, regulations and guidance. The role will require:
• Understanding of the nature of the credit union’s business, operating principles, activities and the risks it faces; • Attendance at board, sub-committee and BOC meetings;
• Review of the board of directors role and execution.
To fulfil these duties and responsibilities, appropriate and on-going training will be made available.

Retirement of Ollie O’Neill EO Mullingar / Nuala Nestor
Almost 43 years to the day he started work in 1974 Ollie’s last working day is set for Friday September 8th 2017. All his colleagues and friends in Mullingar wish Ollie a long and happy retirement.
A function to mark Ollie’s retirement will be held on 6th October 2017 in Chambers Pub , Mount St, Mullingar.
