The death has occurred of Patrick Hogan (Snr), Templemore, Co. Tipperary, father of Paddy Hogan, Treasury Operations, Finance Operations. Funeral arrangements later (please check RIP for details).
Our thoughts are with Paddy and his family at this sad time. May he rest in peace.

The death has occurred of Robert (Bob) Rogan, Retired, Power Plant, ESB International.
Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on Wednesday evening from 5 pm to 7 pm. Funeral Service at 12 pm on Thursday morning at St. Attracta’s Oratory, Meadowbrook followed by burial at Kilmashogue Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to St. Vincent de Paul.

UCD Engineers Graduate Association Spring Lecture /
The UCD EGA Annual Spring Lecture 2018 will take place on Thursday, April 19th. We are delighted to have Dr Dervilla Mitchell, Chair of ARUP, UK, Middle East and Africa, delivering this year’s lecture entitled: ‘The Changing Face of Engineering’
Dr Mitchell will speak about her experiences and the changes she has seen in her career as well as giving a view on the challenges and benefits of adopting technology, and the contribution Engineering can make to all our lives in the
Also speaking will be Dr Francesco Pilla from the UCD School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy. His work focuses on understanding complex environmental phenomena in order to pre-empt their impact. Dr Pilla has acquired considerable experience in networks of environmental sensors for urban environmental monitoring during collaborations with MIT as part of a Fulbright/EPA TechImpact award (2015) and his PhD (2011) research work in Air Quality Modelling.

The event will take place at 18:30 in Theatre 326, Engineering and Materials Science Centre, UCD, Belfield, Dublin 4.

Retirement of Imelda O Toole / David Mooney
After 33 Years (give or take a break) Imelda O’Toole has decided to call it a day, and hang up her head set and answer Retirement call instead.
Imelda has worked in many different areas of ESB over the years Fleet St, Finglas, Head Office Fitzwilliam St and now Merrion Sq. The lady loves to travel!
Imelda would like all her colleagues, both past and present, to join her for a buzzing night on Friday 18th May.
