Death of Breda Glennon (Beloved Mother of Helen Herskind) / Paschal Buckley
Breda will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her heart-broken family, daughter Helen (Herskind), sons Martin and David, sister Elizabeth, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, her adored grandchildren, Emily, Jill, Amy, Ciara, Sarah, Lucy, Eamon, Holly and Katie, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, on Friday from 6 o’clock until 9 o’clock with prayers at 9 o’clock. Removal on Saturday to arrive at St. Mel’s Cathedral for Mass of the Resurrection at 1 o’clock, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. No flowers please. Donations if desired to Longford Hospice Homecare. House is private please.
Our thoughts & prayers are with Helen & her family at this sad time.

Competition to Celebrate Men’s Health June 2017 /

To celebrate Men’s Health Week 12th – 18th June, 2017 with the theme ‘It’s all about HIM’ ESB Health & Wellbeing are running a month long competition for 5 lovely prizes.
The competition is based on an amazing article by Richie Colgan, Engineering Officer from ESB Networks South Lotts Road who featured in ‘Doctor in the House’ in April on TV3.
Richie, who is from Swords in Dublin, has worked for ESB for almost 40 years. Alongside his wife and daughter, the Colgan’s took part in a life style change programme aimed at losing weight and feeling great.

Brigid O’Grady Arklow Retires / Barbara Vance
For over 23 years, Brigid has made an invaluable contribution to all areas she has worked in – Dun Laoghaire, Bray, Stillorgan and most especially Arklow where she has been since 2003. Her strong commitment and ability to meet challenges ‘head on’ is legendary. Arklow ran seamlessly with Brigid at the helm and she is held in high esteem by her friends and colleagues there and in Enniscorthy.

An Garda CC will play Dublin Fire Brigade in the annual charity cricket game in Civil Service CC . Phoenix Park this sunday 2nd July commencing 1.30 . Proceeds will go towards St Francis Hospice Blanchardstown .
BBque plus face painting for kids plus pets corner plus a visit from Dublin Fire Briade engine and a large raffle will take place on the day..
ESB will play the diggers in a small Warm Up game prior to the main event. Hope to see you all there to support this worthwhile cause
