Catherine Owens RIP (sister of Noel Heffernan, Asset Management, ESB Networks) / Kevin O’Connor
It’s my sad duty to inform you of the death of Catherine Owens, sister of our colleague Noel Heffernan
OWENS (née Heffernan) (Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin) – September 30th 2018 (peacefully) at her home surrounded by her loving family. Catherine; dearly beloved wife and best friend of Ray, much loved mother of Christopher and Raymond and stepmom of Paquita. Sadly missed by her heartbroken husband, sons, stepdaughter, daughters-in-law Fiona and Sharon, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relative and friends.
May she rest in peace

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan and Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin (opp. Sallynoggin Church) on Monday from 9am to 6pm and Tuesday from 9am with a gathering of family and friends for 7pm Prayer Service (all welcome). Removal on Wednesday morning to the Church of the Holy Family, Kill-o’-the-Grange arriving at 9.45am. Funeral immediately after 10am Requiem Mass to Deans Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if Desired to the Blackrock Hospice. Donation box at the back of the church beside the condolence book.

Eamon McDonnell RIP ( Brother of Kathleen McDonnell, Athlone) / Seamus Reilly, EAP Sligo
I regret to inform you of the death of Eamon McDonnell, Curry, Brideswell, Athlone, Co Roscommon (brother of our colleague Kathleen McDonnell, Prog Mgr. Health Mgmt & Promotion) on Friday 28th September 2018 peacefully in the care of the staff of the Hospice Unit Roscommon University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his father Edward. Sadly missed by his loving wife and best friend Eileen, cherished sons Cormac and Lorcan, mother Rose. Beloved brother of Andy (Curry) Marion Mulvey (Ballydangan) Kathleen (Athlone) and Dympna Brady (Dublin); brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, grandniece and grandnephews, his many loyal neighbours and friends, and work colleagues in the Revenue Commissioners. Funeral arrangemnets as follows;
Reposing at St Brigid’s Funeral Home Brideswell on Sunday evening 30th September from 5 pm to 7.30pm. Removal from his home on Monday morning 1st October arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon in St. Brigid’s Church, Curraghboy. Burial afterwards in Cam Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Cancer Care West.
Our Thoughts & Prayers are with Kathleen & all the family at this very difficult time. May He Rest in Peace

Paul Sheerin RIP (Brother of Ollie Dunne Turlough Hill) / Tomás Waters
The death has occurred of Paul Sheerin, Cannakill, Croghan., Rhode, Offaly – Brother of Oliver Dunne Turlough Hill and Liffey Stations.
Deeply regretted by his loving parents Sean & Dina, brothers Gerard & Oliver, sister Corina, brother-in-law Michael, sister-in-law Breda, nieces Caoimhe & Blathnad, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Larkin’s Funeral Home, Edenderry on Tuesday from 3.30pm with removal to St. Brigid’s Church, Croghan at 6pm arriving for 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am followed by burial in Croghan Cemetery. May he rest in peace.

Sportsco World Cup 2018 20th October /
The 2018 ESB Soccer World Cup takes place in Sportsco this October 20th starting at 1pm. This is a 5 a side tournament with teams from all Business Units taking part. EirGrid and NIE also enter teams. There is a Men’s tournament, a Women’s tournament and an Over 40’s on the day. Teams can enter a squad of up to 8 players.

If you don’t have a team but are interested please email us and, if possible, we will try to assign you to a squad. Entry fee: €160
