Bereavement – Joe West (Stephen West’s Father) /
The death has occurred of Joe West (Father of our friend and colleague Stephen West, EMP AMS Stations Maintenance). Joe passed away peacefully, at St. Francis’ Hospice, Blanchardstown. After a short illness. Joe will be sadly missed by his loving wife Carmel, children Brian, Claire, Stephen and Mark, brothers Gerry and Noel, sisters Kay, Mary and Ann, son-in-law Paul, daughters-in-law Julie, Karen and Gillian, grandchildren Thom, Chloe, Jamie, Conor and Maebh, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends. MAY HE REST IN PEACE.
Reposing at Mc Entaggart’s Funeral Home, Dunshaughlin(A85 DE70) from 4pm on Friday. Removal on Friday evening at 5.45pm arriving at S.S. Patrick and Seachnaill’s Church, Dunshaughlin at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to St. Francis’ Hospice, Blanchardstown. House Private.

Jane Power RIP Mother of Geraldine Burke Tuam /
The death has occurred of Jane Power peacefully at U.C.H.G. Predeceased by her husband Martin.
Deeply regretted by her family, daughters Margaret, Anne, Bernadette and Geraldine, sons Paddy, John, James, Martin and Michael. Her sister in law Nora, U.S.A. Sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Glynn’s funeral home Dunmore H54NY61 on Friday evening from 5.00pm untill 8.00pm, with removal afterwards to her home. Removal on Saturday morning to Church of Christ the King, Kiltevna H54WD82 for funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery. House private on Saturday morning, please.

Fundraising

Sing for Simon/ Phillip Darcy
Would you like to make a difference this festive season?  
Well then, you are more than welcome to come along to the ESB Trading & Friends “Sing for Simon” event this year, to help raise much needed funds for the homeless.
The choir will be singing at the Woollen Mills (beside the ha’penny bridge) on Tuesday, 17th December from 2-4pm.

People Leaving

Retirement of Frank Graham /

After 23 years of dedicated service, Frank Graham is retiring and moving on to the next chapter of his life. Frank joined the ESB in 1996 and during his time here has worked with distinction as the Senior Control Room Operator in Head Office Security.
Frank has not only become the friendly face of security but also a great friend and colleague to many of us over the years. We would like to wish him the very best of luck and happiness in his future ventures.
To mark his departure, Frank would like to invite all his friends and colleagues to join him in McGrattan’s on Fitzwilliam Lane at 5.30pm on 6th December next.
