Death of Charles (Charlie) O’Connor, Father of Carmel O’Connor, ESB Networks / PC Lynch
It is with great sadness, I wish to advise you of the passing of Charles (Charlie) O’Connor, Father of our colleague & friend, Carmel O’Connor, ESB Networks.
Charles (Charlie) O’Connor, Rathgar, Dublin previously St. Patrick’s Park, Clondalkin, formerly of R.T.E. – November 4th 2018, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross surrounded by his loving family, after a long illness bravely borne. Predeceased by his beloved wife Anne, and his sister Collette. Adored father of Carmel and Charles, and cherished grandfather of Charlie and Paul; he will be very sadly missed by his children, daughter-in-law Sue, grandchildren, his brothers Don, Kevin and Paul, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, close friends and by all who knew him. May he Rest in Peace
Reposing at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, Tuesday, November 6th 2018, from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning arriving at the Church of the Three Patrons, Rathgar for 10:00am Requiem Mass. Burial thereafter in Esker Cemetery, Lucan. ESB has been celebrating Diwali for the last few years highlighting the cultural diversity in our organisation.
Diwali, the Festival of Lights, celebrates the new beginnings, triumph of good over evil, light over dark and hope over despair.
Please come and join us in celebrating the coming together of the community, taste festive Indian food and savour the cultural delights of India with fabulous music and dance.
