Retirement of John Stone, ESB Networks Roscrea / ESB Roscrea
John Stone is retiring after over 40 years’ service based in his native Roscrea to start the next chapter in his life.
Throughout his career, John was a loyal, hardworking and dedicated employee and also for many years represented his colleagues as a union shop steward.
Outside of work, John together with his wife Margaret brought that same dedication to their tremendous fundraising for Our Ladys Childrens Hospital, Crumlin.
John will be missed by his many friends and colleagues but we wish both John & Margaret good health and happiness in his retirement.
There will be a retirement function held in the Golf Club, Roscrea on Friday 31 January at 7pm to mark the occassion. If you wish to be associated with the presentation please contact ; ESB Roscrea 0505/24501

Thank You & farewell from Michael Quigley/
My family and I extend our sincerest thanks to all who attended my retirement party last Thursday, 9th Jan. It was a wonderful evening, a joy to see you all and yet humbling that so many took the time and trouble to come along from Gateway, Dublin Airport, Retirement and many places in between! Thank you for the lovely gifts and flowers. Thank you also to everyone who called, who sent messages, emails, cards and texts full of good wishes for myself and my family.
To all my colleagues down through the last 41 years – I have thoroughly enjoyed our journey together and I extend my heartfelt thanks and gratitude to you for your friendship, your patience and the treasured memories.
I bid you farewell as I embark on my exciting Part III. I wish you and ESB every success in the years ahead. Kindest Regards,
Michael Quigley

Thank you from Anne O’Neill / Patricia Nolan
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who celebrated my retirement with me last week.
I was quite overwhelmed by the attendance on the night itself and the numerous emails, phone calls, texts, flowers, gifts and cards I’ve received over the past number of weeks.
As I said on the night, I am so grateful for having worked with the most wonderful colleagues over the years and having made the most amazing friendships and memories. I wish you all a healthy and happy future. Best wishes,
Anne.
