Death of Mairead Connors ( Wife of John ESBN Loughrea ) /
It is with deep regreat that I have to inform you of the passing of Mairead Connors. Wife of our college John ESBN staff Loughrea.
Funeral arrangements to be finalised.

May she rest in peace.

Heritage week at the National Gallery /
Just a quick update to you on some of the exciting events taking place in the Gallery for Heritage Week next week, many of which are taking place in the ESB-sponsored Centre for the Study of Irish Art. The events are open to the public so feel free to bring family and friends along with you! Here is the full schedule of the events for Heritage Week:
Event: Wikipedia Edit-a-thon \ Stories and artists from the Gallery Date: Tuesday 21st
Location: ESB Centre for the Study of Irish Art, Millennium Wing, level 2
This event invites people of all ages to edit and create Wikipedia pages that shine a light on the Gallery’s collection and history. Event: Behind the scenes evening tour of the Library & Archive collections. Date & time: Thursday 23rd, 5.30pm – 6.30pm
Location: ESB Centre for the Study of Irish Art, Millennium Wing, level 2 Event: Behind the scenes evening tour of the Library & Archive collections. Date & time: Saturday, 10am-11am

Leah Benson & Emma O’Toole will be on site to conduct a behind the scenes tour of Library & Archives collections as well as a tour of the [In]Visible exhibition!! Meeting at the Millennium Wing.
As well as all these events, each day throughout the week the Education department will be running tours based on the theme of Shared stories and focusing on women artists in the collection as well as the [In]Visible exhibition.
Join us for a free tour of the collection, led by one of our fantastic tour guides. We will look at the shared stories of women in our collection. Underground Car Park Etiquette / Jim Murphy
A number of incidents have been reported in relation to the behaviour of car drivers, motorcyclists, cyclists and pedestrians in relation to the lack of awareness or mindfullnes towards each other.
Recent incidents include motorcyclists overtaking cyclists, cars taking shorcuts across car park spaces, pedestrians walking out in front of cars and cars driving too fast, etc.
These incidents occur both inside and outside the areas under the control of ESB.
Incidents that occur within the confines of the ESB workplace, that is the areas directly under the control of ESB, are recorded in SHIELD. Please be mindful of your colleagues.
