Reboot Your Commute – ‘The New Pedometer Challenge’ / Brian Gray
From Monday 1st October to Sunday 11th November we are challenging everyone to ‘Reboot Their Commute’ and take part in the Commuter Challenge. Choose from walking, running, cycling, public transport or carpooling, or mix it up throughout the challenge. Get Active & Win – Special prizes each week for clocking up steps or KMs cycled. · Form a Team on 3-6 People and nominate a Team Captain
· The Team Captain must set up an account and create a team on activetravellogger.ie

· From Monday the 1st October to Sunday 11th November 2018: Participants are encouraged to walk, run, cycle, take public transport or carpool for their commute, or try a combination of different modes & log their trips on activetravellogger.ie How to Win?
Log your Travel: Each Monday teams who log their trips before 12pm for the previous week will be included in a prize draw for a goodie pack and gift vouchers. * To be eligible for the prize draw teams must log a weekly average of at least 6 commuting trips each week
Top Prize: Teams who have logged more than (a team average of) 6 trips each week of the challenge will be entered into the final big prize draw. The winning team will win a Barista Bike Afternoon Tea for participants within their workplace or campus and goodies Active Commuting
The top 5 steppers each week will be awarded goodie packs related to walking/running The top 5 cyclists each week will be awarded goodie packs related to cycling Weekly Photo Competitions

Death of Robert Gunn, HVD&C Inchicore /
It is with great sadness I have to inform you that our colleague and friend Robert Gunn (HVD&C Inchicore) passed away yesterday after a short illness. Details of funeral arrangements yet to be announced.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Robert’s family and his friends at this sad time
The death has occurred of Paddy GORMAN / Noel Kavanagh
The death has occurred of Paddy GORMAN – retired from Kylemore Rd.and Airton RD.
Gorman, Paddy (Tallaght, Dublin 24, late of Newtown Park), September 14th, 2018 peacefully at Clonskeagh Nursing Home; sadly missed by his brother, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Tallaght Village on Wednesday (September 19th) from 3pm prior to his Removal to St. Mary’s Priory, Tallaght arriving for 5pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am, followed by burial to Bohernabreena Cemetery. All enquiries to – 01 451 6701.
