It is with great sadness that I inform you of the death of Aileen’s beloved father who passed away on Friday 14th June and was buried on Monday 17th. Our thoughts and prayers are with Aileen and her family at this difficult time. May he rest in peace

After more than 40 years of service, Ray Aherne has decided to hang up his PPE and focus on his passion for writing!
Over his years in ESB, Ray has made many friends while working in Civil Works Dept., Manpower Department, Central Stores, Dundalk, Cavan, HR Networks and finally Fleet Tools and Equipment.
To celebrate his retirement, a function will be held in the Grand Canal Hotel, Upper Grand Canal Street, Dublin 4, this Thursday, 20th of June at 5.30pm.
Ray would like to invite his many current and former colleagues and friends from across ESB to join him on the night.
