Death of Cyril Gavigan, Brother of Noel Gavigan Lough Ree Power /
I regret to inform you of the death of Cyril Gavigan, Lanesboro, Co. Longford. Brother of Noel Gavigan Lough Ree Power Station. Died on 19th of November, peacefully at Costello’s Nursing Home following a long illness. Predeceased by his devoted parents Anne and Jimmy Gavigan and his nephew Kyle. Sadly missed by his loving family Annette, Geraldine, Tony, Garry, Bosco, Kevin, Noel, Maria, Eamon and Martina, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnephews, uncle, aunts, relatives and friends.
Reposing at the family residence Thurreen, Lanesboro (N39HH64) on Wednesday, 21st November, from 12 noon onwards. Removal to St. Mary’s Church, Lanesboro on Thursday, 22nd November, for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Clonbonny Cemetery.

This evening, Thursday : Retirement of John Egan, Supply Chain, ESB Networks / Walter Keady
After more than 37 years of service, John Egan has decided to exchange his PPE and PC for waders and a fishing rod!
Over his years in ESB, John has made many friends while working in Civil Works Dept., ESBI, ESB Telecoms, Marketing, ESB Contracts and numerous roles in ESB Networks.
To celebrate his retirement, a function will be held in the Grand Canal Hotel, Upper Grand Canal Street, Dublin 4, this evening, Thursday, 22nd November at 5.30pm.
John would like to invite his many current and former colleagues and friends from across ESB to join him on the night.

ladies lunchtime soccer / Shauna Brady
Looking for any ladies based in Gateway (or close enough to make it this far) who would be interested in a social soccer kick-around. Tuesdays 12:45 – 1:30 (ish) in the Sean O’Casey building (about 7 minutes walk from Gateway). We will play in the hall (INDOORS). No previous soccer experience necessary. All levels welcome. No need to comit to more than 1 week at a time. An email will issue each Monday to see how many players are available for the follow day – if enough we play, if not, we try again next week.
