Maura Laverty – ‘This Was Your Life’ Is Heading On A Nationwide Tour!/
After a sell-out show in The Viking Theatre, Clontarf back in September, ‘Maura Laverty – This Was Your Life’ is heading out on a 22-theatre nationwide tour!
This sparkling new play tells of the rollercoaster life of the broadcaster, playwright, novelist and agony aunt, Maura Laverty. A household name in Ireland for three decades, her work was often controversial and her novels were banned by the censors.

Kildare-born Maura will return from the grave to give audiences demonstrations of her own recipes and discuss her rollercoaster life as a celebrity chef, broadcaster and writer in Ireland before her death in 1966.

This play is attracting a lot of excitement from foodies and theatre-goers alike. It has featured in newspapers, on social media and has had coverage on RTE.
